CENK BAYRAKDAR Turkey Revo Capital Cenk Bayrakdar is a co-founder and the CEO of REVO Capital, a $50M VC fund focused on early/growth technology ventures in Turkey. He has nearly 19 years of experience in technology ecosystem of Turkey, including 13 years at Turkcell. During his time at Turkcell, he had established and lead numerous key initiatives influencing Turkcell's entire non-voice VAS (Value Added Services) lineup as the Chief Product / New Technology Businesses Officer. In this role, he and his team has effectively developed an innovation ecosystem of 350 technology startups around Turkcell. KRISTEN DURHAM United States Silicon Valley Bank Kristen Durham is the Global Gateway Director at Silicon Valley Bank, responsible for cross-border business development and client service in emerging international markets. Durham's work focuses on supporting early stage, growth and established technology and life sciences companies as they build strategic relationships and sustainable businesses in new markets, with particular emphasis on China, Latin America, Russia, Turkey and Australia. She has been with the bank since June 2011. Prior to SVB, Durham was Vice President of Global Initiatives at the Bay Area Council (BAC) and a senior analyst with the BAC Economic Institute. ALI KARABEY Turkey 212 Ventures After graduating from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a degree in Finance, Ali H. Karabey resumed his career in Arthur Andersen's New York office in the Corporate Finance department, executing mid-market transactions in technology, media and telecommunications industries. In 2002 Mr. Karabey joined Morgan Stanley Capital International to manage North American and European finance teams consecutively. Meanwhile he was involved in the valuation, due diligence, and the post-acquisition integration of Barra. After Morgan Stanley he transferred to Deutsche Bank to focus on the Bank's principal investments. MILES KIRBY United Kingdom Qualcomm Miles Kirby is Managing Director of Qualcomm Ventures, responsible for activities in the European regions. He currently manages and actively serves as a board observer for Qualcomm Ventures investments in Anteryon, Arieso, and IP Access. Miles has 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Miles was previously in Qualcomm Ventures and lead investments in A123, Iridigm and others before moving to lead the product management group at the Qualcomm division formed with the acquisition of Iridigm. He also lead the business development and innovation process in Qualcomm's Corporate Research and Development group. 5
